The designers of the development were sure to keep the effects of construction upon the environment to a minimum. They fully embraced the concepts of sustainability, from simple things such as using only organic fertilizer, to providing a toxic waste processing plant. This allows residents to dispose of harmful items, such as old batteries, in a harmless way, and also promotes the recycling of more traditional waste.
