Spring has Sprung in Katy, TX
Well, it finally looks like the cold winter is over and the warmth of Spring in on us. I even broke a bit of a sweat yesterday showing some homes. I absolutely love it and am ready for a quality Spring and Summer in the real estate market this 2010. In fact, the weather isnt the only thing that is heating up around here. The market is heating up as well. We have multiple new listings and many of them are even already under contract.
I was showing two different buyers homes yesterday and today and there truly are some nice ones out there. I say this to point out to you that in Katy, TX, the market is strong and you need to get in the game if you are thinking about it. In area 36 alone, that is the area in Katy that is south of I10, we had 37 new listing just today. 2 have already gone pending (under contract). 9 homes are back on the market today and 29 had price changes (some of which increased their asking price). 49 other homes went pending today (not new listings) and another 24 closed. This shows that if the home is priced right and in decent condition, it will sell.
