The Katy Tigers successfully defended their State Title tonight at Reliant Stadium by beating the Wylie Pirates easily 17-3. This makes them the State 5A Football Champions again! They have won this coveted award in 1959, 1997, 2000, 2003, 2007, 2008 making it, without a doubt, one of the premium programs in the State of Texas and the USA. Congrats goes out to all of the Tigers, their families, the coaches and this wonderful community. KATY-TIGERS #1.
