December Events in Katy
With Christmas just around the corner there are plenty of community events, festivities, and holiday parties to keep your calendar packed and your family on the go. Of course, if you have recently relocated to Katy you may not be aware of all the exciting events for your family to enjoy. From parties and festivals, to caroling and Christmas plays, you’ll have only moments to catch your breath between these activities and your gruesome shopping schedule. A few Katy events that are definitely worth checking out this year include:
1st Annual Katy Holiday Fun Festival
December 12-14

The first annual Katy Holiday Fun Festival is sure to become a holiday favorite. Festive treats will include candy apples, cotton candy, egg nog, hot chocolate, and s’mores. Of course, no festival would be complete with everyone’s favorite treat: funnel cake. After indulging in your favorite treats be sure to check out some of the live performances, Christmas caroling, vendors, the petting zoo, Santa Claus, and exciting carnival rides! Admission to the Katy Holiday Fun Festival will be free. However, please bring a donation: cash, new toy, non-perishable food item, or clothing. What could be more festive than helping out those less fortunate around Christmas? Donations are to benefit local charities.

Mmmmmm… with Santa & Mrs. Claus as the host of this holiday breakfast your youngest are sure to have an amazing time. Your children will delight in a sweet and scrumptous breakfast and enjoy “Rudolph: The Musical” by students from Katy Visual Performing Arts Center. Get there early as the sweets are only available while supplies last!
