Easter in Katy Texas
One of the most eagerly awaited family events is the annual Easter Egg Extravaganza. Highlights include some zany egg and spoon racing and an Easter egg hunt, a firm favorite with the youngsters.
Fathers Day Weekend Fishing Tournament
One for the men is the annual Fathers Day Weekend Fishing Tournament. This highly popular competition is a lighthearted family affair but with very serious undertones, competition can be fierce as local father and child teams compete for the winning title of best fishermen of the year.
The Fourth of July
Independence Day Celebration happens on every 4th of July, this is a grand festival with a whole range of entertainment laid on to amuse the entire family. Art and craft stall ply their trade, the food tent is a major favorite, as is the July 4th parade.
Back to School Bash
Just before the school year starts each year, the Back to School Bash takes place. This is a general celebration of the end of summer, and is a fun event that is designed to give children and families a final quality day together before the young ones head back to full time education.
