What’s New in Cinco Ranch?
As one of the top planned communities in Katy Texas, Cinco Ranch represents some of the best Katy real estate. There always seems to be something going on within this community, let’s take a look at the current events.
In the middle of June we had the Fishing Tournament, which was won by Team Taylor-Blest. Local residents do seem to love their fishing, and the tournament is very competitive. The winning team caught over 326 inches of fish, and the prizes were handed to the team caption (Captain Dad), what a great thing it is to see a family team win.
On the 21st of June the Dan Gordon Dante, A teller of Tales a Stroll through Storyland took place. Residents were invited to join Dan Dante for an exciting and interactive voyage through the land of stories. Dante was accompanied by his flute playing and told tales of varies lands. Each story had a lesson or theme which was designed to highlight the reason to find good in all. Students were encouraged to participate with the storytelling, often feeling as if they had become storytellers themselves.
Earlier in June, Joseph Dixon took local residents through a journey of exploration to discern the impact of music through history. From early music to modern hip-hop, the event visitors were taught how to build a drum circle and also learned of Congo Square in New Orleans.
Local Katy Texas residents are lucky to have such a wonderful community so close by, always something new happening over at Cinco Ranch.
