Katy ISD Approves School Calendar

The 08-09 School Calendar has been approved by the KISD school board after much interest and debate. The option chosen dictates that the fall semester would begin Aug. 25 and end on Dec. 19, with holidays on Sept. 1 and Nov. 26 to 28, and early dismissals on Sept. 26, Nov. 7 and Dec. 19. [...]

I69 Corridor Creates a Stir in Waller County

There will be another public hearing in Waller County on the proposed I-69/Trans-Texas Corridor. TxDOT spokesman Chris Lippincott said state Sen. Glenn Hegar and state Rep.
